3. When your finished with the item you must return to our website and repost it.

Ownership and Usage
All items provided by ALSGIVER.COM are donations and remain the property of ALSGIVER.COM at all times. These donated items are intended solely for individuals diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). ALSGIVER.COM offers the use of these items free of charge and without any time constraints, provided the following conditions are met.
Conditions for Usage
- Confirmed ALS Diagnosis: To access and utilize donated equipment from ALSGIVER.COM, you must have a confirmed diagnosis of ALS. This condition ensures that the equipment is made available exclusively to those directly affected by this condition.
- Single Item Selection: Each individual is limited to selecting one item at a time from the donated equipment list. This policy ensures equitable access to available resources and allows others in the ALS community to benefit as well.
- Return and Recycle: When you have finished using the equipment you have selected, it is essential that you promptly return to our website and repost it as available. This practice ensures that the equipment continues to benefit as many individuals as possible within the ALS community.
Restrictions
- Prohibited Resale: Under no circumstances are you permitted to resell any items received from ALSGIVER.COM. All items remain the exclusive property of ALSGIVER.COM and must be used for their intended purpose by individuals living with ALS.
- Consultation Requirement: Prior to claiming any used medical equipment or orthotics from ALSGIVER.COM, it is mandatory to consult with an Occupational Therapist and/or Medical Professional. This consultation helps ensure that the selected equipment is appropriate for your specific needs and circumstances.
- Maintenance and Repairs: You may choose to fix or discard items that wear out or break at your discretion. ALSGIVER.COM does not provide reimbursement for any costs associated with repairs or maintenance of the donated equipment. It is the responsibility of the recipient to manage and maintain the items they have selected.
